Meet Robyn Parets, Your Retreat Host

Hi everyone! I've been teaching yoga, pranayama and meditation for more than 20 years and was originally certified to teach Hatha yoga in 2003 at Maha Yoga Center in Bridgewater, MA under the mentorship of Diane Lagadec. I am also a breathwork facilitator/energy healer (certified in Levels 1-5 with David Elliott).

I have been sensing and feeling energy fields ever since I can remember, and to heighten my perception, I became certified in Meridian Yoga, Reiki 1 & II, Reconnective Healing®, and Psych-K®.

In 2020, I became ill with Lyme, Long-COVID, and mold toxicity. This started me down a 3-year+ journey to regain my health and energy. And, during this period, I also had a lot of time to re-evaluate my life and what I wanted for my next chapter now that my 3 sons were grown and flown. While I've always known the importance of 'living in the present', I essentially got a gut check that all we have is 'now'. Not only that, but finding what makes you truly happy is key, especially when reinventing yourself after age 50.

And so, my husband and I bought a lakehouse in Weare, New Hampshire - on a whim - and have spent the past several years renovating the house and grounds. This zen retreat is now called 'WeAre Buddhaful' and I am blessed to host daylong women's retreats at this beautiful spot! I also love Bethel Farm, where I am lucky enough to teach yoga weekly (so this is a special place for me and soon - you too!)

Some more fun facts about me....I am the former owner of Breathe Joy Yoga studio in Sharon, Ma. During my 12 years running BJY, I led 200-hour teacher training certifications, retreats, workshops and classes. In 2016, I sold the studio to expand my kids yoga business, Pretzel Kids®, now one of the fastest-growing children's yoga companies in the United States.

Along with my wellness and entrepreneurial ventures, I'm a former journalist and always a writer. I am currently obsessed with growing my own vegetables, renovating my house with flea market finds, teaching yoga and meditation, guiding breathwork, writing my future memoir, kayaking, and taking photos of faraway lands.

Special Guests

We are so excited about this special weekend that we've invited some special guests to make our time together even more memorable!

Jill Coletti, Sound & Reiki Healer

Jill is a Reiki Master Teacher, Sound Healing Practitioner, Sacred Space Holder & high vibe mama of two with a heart-centered mission to empower women just like her to prioritize their own healing and fulfillment - because when we heal and take care of ourselves, we heal the world around us.

Some of her favorite ways to spread this mission is hosting women’s circles, Reiki shares, sound ceremonies and teaching Reiki to others.

When Jill is not in her Reiki room or on a sports field cheering her kids on, she may be found walking barefoot at the beach, exploring her quaint New Hampshire town or reading.  Never did she think she would be a plant mom, enjoy gardening or attempt her own sourdough starter- but those days have arrived. Life is always evolving. You can learn more about Jill here.

Tracey Fitts, Farm-to-Table Chef

Tracey is our wonderful chef for our weekend together!

She lives a vegan lifestyle and is passionate about sharing all of the aspects of this practice with others.

Her studies in holistic nutrition and extensive experience as a chef provide a valuable depth of knowledge to her work and service to others. She’s a yoga teacher, an animal activist, and a seeker of light. This strikes a dynamic balance to her business degrees and background in event planning.

Tracey believes in living a natural life and nourishing others, not only with food, but with the powerful knowledge of the deep healing connection we have with each others. You can find Tracey on Instagram at @mountaingirlyogachef
